Just received my Crosman/Remington 1875 revolver today from Canada Shooting Supply, so now I can stop drooling over my keyboard when I see one  . That's so cool, now I have the three most famous western revolvers replicas. Best thing is I got it on sale, about 25% off the regular price, and it was delivered one day sooner than announced by Canada Posts :supz: . So impatient for this week-end to come!

Nice collection Airmec. What's next for the old west collection?

Mine currently sits at 30 old west replica airguns.

Curious to hear which one is your favorite.

I don't think I have a favorite (yet anyway). It's kinda like with your children, they're all different, but you love'em all :) . One thing with the Remington, the trigger is harder than with the Schofield and Colt, but I'm sure I can fix that 8) .

I've had my Remington a bit over a year now.
It does well with pellets for a smooth bore.
It likes the crosman competition wad cutters.
Best accuracy so far is with the umarex black b.b.'s..
Trigger pull actually smoothed up quite a bit after the first five cylinders.

Thanks, that's good to know. I know for a fact they do well in my Schofield with a now riffled barrel. I've only tried JSB RS Exact 7.33 grains domed pellets in the Remy so far (358 fps on the Chrony), with not too bad results I think. Does shoot a bit to the left though. The upper shot is a ''sighting in'' shot. Trigger is already better after 3 cylinders. 16°C, 25 feet, standing, one-hand shooting.

I also have all 3. I'm not sure which one I like most.
I actually bought 2 Schofield to have both models.

You can’t buy a single airgun for everything. Golfers use many different clubs, airgunners need more than one gun

I bought the grey/black one first, then the nickel one... I don't have room for the weathered finish one (or any other replica for that matter)

I machined a 1377 barrel to fit the Schofield.

I ordered (but didn't received yet) the blued one at PyramydAir in the U.S.

Tks, unfortunately I do not have the knowledge to machine a barrel.
I do like my Schofiled , mine failry shoots accurate. I did not like that thin plastic hollow feel the
grips have. I used a brown non drying modeling clay and packed it in the grips. It made a BIG difference in the feel and balance of the gun.

It now feels dense , and properly weighted as if it was made of wood.
Another question, have you bought other guns fromPyramid air in the US? Did you have any issues with customs?

I see Replica Air Gun's in BC has a nice selection, but lots of stuff is out of stock.

Try Air Gun Source (AGS.CA) they also have descent inventory and very fast service and price are ok. I should of wait to order my Schofield from Pyramid. Now it's back to them under guaranty for a month now and no new's, will have to start emailing them...

While it's great if you can find a Canadian supplier for your purchase, sometimes items are just not available here. Pyramid pioneered US/Canada shipping of airguns, and worked very closely with CBS in setting up a system of "pre-clearance" of airguns. On their site, If you see the Canadian flag (and "Ships to Canada") on an airgun you're considering, you can be assured that there will be no problems with Canada Border Services. (Notice I said CBS, but not necessarily with UPS, which they insist on using and UPS insists on trying to screw any penny they can from you). I think Pyramid has straightened this out with UPS now.

As well, if you step through the process of purchasing an item, Pyramid will calculate all costs (taxes, shipping, duty, broker fees, etc.) so there will be no surprises when the shipment arrives. (disclaimer: see above)

Purchasing from Pyramid is considered to be totally safe, but don't expect to save any money doing so. As a general statement, total costs quoted by Pyramid are on par with what you pay in Canada. Consider the only advantage to be the availability of a product not (yet?) accessible through a Canadian supplier.

Cheers.
