Tks- got an old 5-15X M3200 on it for now. I will likely put a 4-12X44mm, 30mm tube on it soon.
Checked magazine function - works fine & fired a couple pellets into my box. Nice easy side lever action.
I like that. 1st for me.

Tks - the trigger is pretty good, right out of the box/gun case.
I am quite pleased with it - so far. Hope to get out testing this weekend. Truck goes
to see the Dr. tomorrow for a tie rod end & tire change, or I'd be going shooting tomorrow.
The magazines look like they might work with the FX Hybrids which would be a good thing.
I have some for testing.

Made a scope change to Discovery 6-24X 1st FFP mill dot (9.5).
Same ring spacing as on my Varberger 6.5x55 - so I swapped scopes.

Tks - Hope to get out shooting it tomorrow.
Truck's fixed ($1,600.00) - with the rifle, that's $2,400 this week
Tomorrow with sun and 30% chance of rain tomorrow +12 GREAT! going shooting.
I'm really excited about the side lever and 10 shot magazine(s), currently loaded with
FX Hybrids and Heades.

Looks good. Hope it shoots as well as the MX6 . These barrels are really good IMO. I still have to try and slug the barrel to see what the choke is like .

Post subject:  Re: Aselkon MX9 .25

Just received my order of the pellets it seems to prefer - 33.95gr. JSB King Heavies. I haven't chronographed those yet
but expect them to be around 810fps. I also got a couple tins of FX 25.4gr. RN's for testing. Those should run in the 875fps range.
Initial tested was done at 44yards as that target stand us just behind the 40 meter silhouette rail on the small bore range. My best groups
ran around 1/2" for 5 shots with the King Heavies. Juggling the shroud and barrel nuts did interesting things, but snugged down, the best
accuracy so far, is with the King Heavies. The Hades were disappointing - out of 10 shots, usually 3 flyers, but the rest would be in a decent
group.
The rifle seems to be running between 43 and 49 fpe (49fpe expected with the King Heavies).

This was one day's shooting:

"I do have the 25.39gr. Kings, but out of the King Heavies. It seemed to kinda like the 28gr. Benjamin as well
and shot those best without the shroud, but with the end nut tight. No pellets shot well without the shroud or
nuts. None of them shot well with both nuts. LOL (that's the way I will always prefer to shoot)"

This was another day's shooting:

"Yeah - that's what I was thinking as well. I'd have been ecstatic if the Hybrids shot well,
even though they are so expensive.
Too, the lighter Exacts would have been good too.
Running, with the Hades -- 43.fpe - 854.7fps
------Barracuda Hunters -- 46fpe - 855.8fps
----------------Benjamin---44fpe - 839.2fps
--------------JSB 25.39gr. -43fpe - 869.6fps
--------------JSB Hybrids - 42fpe - 850.4fps
I Didn't chronograph the King Heavies, for some reason.

More testing with my Aselkon MX9 in .25 cal. this spring. Weather was +9C in town, cooler at the range.
I suspect the lower speeds are due to the temperature.
