I was at the Canadian Tire in Miramichi, NB - bought mine there for 100~$. Don't regret it one bit, so fun to shoot!!

Crosman 2240+AirgunSource=$52.99 CDN :wink: , Andy.

I bought my 2240 from Mr.Marvin, The gun was an extremely hard shooter right out of the box, :wink: , with almost no modding it's shooting @ 600fps, :shock: , so it would be toss up for me if I had to buy another, Price vs Power,,,,I think I'd spend the extra couple buck's, and go with the Power, and you can't go wrong buying from Marvin, He stand's behind everything he sell's, Andy.

As the Can $ rises against the US $, Canadian Tire increases the price of this American product. What amazes me the most is, they still manage to sell their wares. What does this say about their customers?

Just noticed that the CT in Chilliwack now carries in stock the 2240 for about $95 and the 2289 backpacker for about $125. Their selection in the past few months has actually gotten bigger with a new display case and a better layout.

Ukranian Tire will price match if it's in the same province , in a flier or catalog and give you the difference in CT money.They did for me electric trolling motor! Try them.............Harold
