All my "air" guns have CHEAP scopes. I have no trouble hitting target,s at the ranges my gun,s can handle with these scopes. None cost more than $100. I think people who feel the need to spend $300 or more on a scope, are deluded to think a very expensive scope will make a difference as to whether they will hit or miss a target. It,s a status symbol like owning a hummer in the city. Something to brag about. My best scope is a 6-24x50 from deal extreme and cost $54 delivered to my door. I have had it for more than a year and have knocked the gun over a couple of time,s with no ill affect on the scope. Built very tough. And the optic,s are great "again for the range,s an air gun shoot,s". As far as powder burner,s are concerned, well, that,s a horse of a different color. As I see it. Cheer,s

I just bought two Simmons 8-point 3-9x40 scopes. I think they're great for the price.

I respect the decision,s by some folk,s to put expensive scopes on their air gun,s. My point is, it,s an air gun, that realistically is only useable up to 100 yd,s and then only for target shooting of their own choice. Hunting with an air rifle "other than the custom built big bore gun,s" is only up to a max of 50 yd,s realistically for humane, certain kill,s. So high power expensive scopes designed for 300+ yd rifle shooting is over kill. Like I said , to each his own. I apologize if I've offended any one.
