Hi folks,

Well, got up this morning to a blizzard, totally white outside so I checked online to see if the shoot was on... no sign of it being off so I packed the car and off I went. Just under an hours drive took me almost 2 hours, because of the weather, roadworks, someone trying to take a space on the road... that I was already in, still not sure how I got out of this nutters way... and my satnav that got lost :?

... anyway, got to the shoot with 10 minutes to spare. All the snow had melted there so it was soggy, damp and quite windy and off we went, hit some good shots and missed a few sitters (gun was chrono'd at 10.03ft/lbs (about 735fps) so down a wee bit on power so will have a look at it) but ended up I think 4th out of 33, so not to bad and it was a good day out.

Headed home and all was going well till I was passed by someone in an old Range Rover that I thought had just washed his windows as I got covered in spray... turned out it was diesel... had to stop to clear my windows  ... got home and the pics are now up on my new site, click the link and hit Dechmont 6.4.08

Good pics. Now, if we can only get a few more women involved. Maybe some wives getting into this will make it easier on us when we disappear for the day, lol.

When you are long winded, is that a sign of Wisdom or Old Age?

I would love see more women involved, unfortunatly most of the ones I know think I'm mad to go out in the cold and wet to shoot at "tin chickens"... on saying that, most men think I'm a bit mad too
