Hey RVD this one has a 1/4 steel face plate... It'll probably stand up to rim fire....

Good stuff Parker, I was thinking of making a FT good for rimfires.. How did you make the latches on the back? got any close up pics of the back?

I had the base out at the FT match on Saturday.... :lol:

Almost finished with this FT....
KZ 1-1/2" and with reducer pictured it's only 1/2"...
The paddle is there, but it's painted red like the wall behind it....LOL

Finally got this FT to the point where he's ready for drilling and welding....
This FT stands near 10" when erect....LOL

That looks great Parker LOL how are you cutting the faceplates out?

I'm using a Sawzall LOL then smoothening out the edges with a grinder and file.. A plasma cutter would be great..

ya gotta be kidding...... if anyone needs access to a set of torches (and is in niagara... ) just lemme know, if you have access to any 2D cad i can get stuff CNC plasma'd and we should have the laser up and running sometime this month................... if ya can wait... if you like the armstrong approach by no means let me hold you back but otherwise let me know.!~
