Oh I guess I can move my level down then and do that as I tend to use my dominant eye when shooting including checking the level (I close my weaker eye) but either way I guess I can fold the ACD down or move to an up position.
I tend to get into position, then check my level to ensure the rifle is not canted. Once that adjustment is made you can simply go back to using your dominant eye to sight with, assuming you don't move again. For your long range shooting it appears as though you generally use a bipod, so once you've checked your level once and adjusted to be level, you really shouldn't need to check it again until the next shot.

This is the next sight upgrade I want to get. When I first got my Industry Brand 2078LE I thought the front sight was canted towards one oçlock...a real pain because the bull barrel is scored at the factory to mount the sight. On more careful examination I found (to my delight) the sights were true and square to the breach and trigger.....but the thumb hole pistol grip part of the stock was canted toward five oçlock...exactly right for natural grip ergonomics. If you ever get an Anschutz or a Steyer....get one with an adjustable pistol grip and cant IT for your natural tendency leaving the sights plumb and vertical.
