I was wondering if there is any local places to pickup decent pellets in Halifax Nova Scotia. I know Canadian Tire carries Crosman Premier, is there any other places locally that anyone knows of?

How about Prince Edward Island?
I am looking for reasonable .22 pellets at a reasonable price. I would have no idea what brand/model I want though

Get them from Eric at Scopes and Ammo or from D&L (on-line) .. I have found them at Canuck Tire in Charlottetown and at Walmart but the only other place I know of is Home Hardware near the Ellis Brothers mall or the one in Montague. Selection is small and very few are kept in inventory.

The Crosman hollow points seem to behave the best of this somewhat poor selection....but they DO NOT expand the way they are supposed to. I have shot them directly at a metal plate at 10 yards and they become Crosman domes without expanding one bit.

If you just want to plink tin cans I suppose these are good enough....but if you want to do more serious shooting get them on-line.....postage on lead is discouraging....Eric....would you consider getting some helium filled ping pong balls as packing peanuts for us guys on the East Coast?

had some .177 RWS, Crosman & Gamo pellets but not in any big amount Saturday 13th of March 2010 .
I seen 2 air rifles & 3 air pistols on display, they were all .177 cal.
They had all kinds of airsoft & powder burner stuff too .

Trying to find a good selection of quality pellets in the store is hard. Best way is to shop on-line. You'll get great selection of a large variety. It may cost a bit more but I find it's worth it. You can be sure to find the 'ultimate' pellet for your air gun. Try scopesandammo, sniper airguns, airgunsource, D&L or specialtyshootingsportsoutdoors. All have a good selection at reasonable prices. This is what works for me.

You can find some at Lequille Country Store in Annapolis Royal, exit 22 off HWY 101 go North about 3 mins on the LEFT.
It's the Irving gas station, they also carry tons of hunting and fishing gear. They carry in air rifle/pistols, Diana, Crossman, Beeman, RWS, Xisi, Hatsan models, and about 15 different types of .177 and .22 cal pellets.

I find .22 cal are very hard to come by in Halifax atleast, which sucks becuase its all I use. I have been buying Crosman Priemier HP from Canadian Tire, everything else is from D&L or Scopes & Ammo.
