Sounds like fun. I'd like to come out and give it a try. I have never done anything but shoot targets in my back yard, so this will be completely new to me.

So does that mean you will be attending? I hope so.

If so, please PM me with the type of sights you will use and your name for the score sheet.

Thanks.

Just sent Tim an E-mail, Looks like the count is 12 now including me. I took my pistol to work today & was surprised at getting a couple of decent quarter-sized 5-shot groups at 12 yards because I moved my scope back over an inch & was expecting it to be WAY off. - I did add 2 yards to the sight-in distance by moving things too; I wonder if getting the fps back up to a fairly consistent 490 (where it was when sighted before) & adding yardage & moving the scope simply resulted in a FLUKE compensation ? :?
Anyhow, I adjusted left a bit over a couple more groups on breaks and got one group that was a four leaf clover with a satellite under the size of a dime & about a 1/4 inch from a cross-hair bullseye. :supz: " YESsssssssss!!!!!"
Needless to say I was happy with the results after changing so much. I am looking forward to a better score than last match with the seal-problem, I'm guessing i was averaging 385-390 fps then, a hundred feet per second can throw off your game Eh?
See you guys on the 7th,
Cheers- PK

Count is up to 14 confirmed, with six shooting open sights, six shooting red dot and two with scope. One more is trying to get a new pistol ready and will make a decision just before the match.

There are still a couple I have not heard from yet, but the best part is that there are a few first time shooters. It is going to be a great time.

If you were thinking Burlington for this Sunday, I think it's reserved for the Safety program... Best double check...

The match fee is $15 and the Google link is below.

http://maps.google.ca/maps?hl=en&q=1540 ... ,%20ON%20C

You can get the direction from your location to the club.

Entries have continued to trickle in and we are now up to 18 shooters confirmed.

We have seven shooting open sights, seven shooting red dot and four shooting scoped. We have a couple others that I am waiting final word on, so the numbers are good.

One week from tomorrow the fun will start at 9:30AM and the doors will be open at 9:00AM.

I will be ordering awards on Wednesday morning, so if you have not already done so, make sure you get you entry in by Tuesday evening.

Thanks.

Tim

I am really looking forward to my first Field Target match.
I have one quick question. Is this an indoor event or outdoor?

Just deciding if I need my long johns or not.
