Today was a landmark day for me . A brand spankin new Bushnell 6500 2.5-16x42 was mated to my new Hammerli 850 .177. Not only do I now have a rig to be competitive in Hunter, I was tutored in the proper procedures to mount / set up the scope. (Thanks again Windbag) There are times when experience is a good teacher, and times when someone elses experience is invaluable. I don't have the oppourtunity that is available to some shooters to spend vast amounts of range/ shooting time to fine tune their equipment and would have been like a monkey with a typerwriter. Eventually he will get it right and spell a word but he will have no idea how!!!. Come on Spring!!!

I guess we know who will be the terror of the hunter division this season  .
No "inferior equipment" excuses will be valid with that rig.... :P  .
Look forward to seeing it in action. 8)

My supervisor once asked me, "were you really sick when you called in yesterday?"
To which I responded, "yep - sick of bein' in here on such a beautiful day".
