Guys as Parker said a few of us do well over 125km to a match. But think of it as a whole day affair outside with like minded shooters. Use the time going to anticipate a great day and the drive back reflecting on what a great day you had!!! I'ts well worth the drive. Here in Toronto you have to drive 50k before you see a space between the buildings!!!

I for one am certainly interested. My property is only two acres but my neighbor would not object to using part of his field for a little more range. Perhaps we can get a teaching clinic happening some weekend now that spring weather has finally arrived.

You guys should post where you live. could make a get together a bit easier to organize? Im in New Glasgow NS. I think the Pictou County Military Rifle Association (PCMRA)shoots indoors 10m at the indoor range in stellarton. thats the only ag event I know of.

It would be Great if you fella's got something going out that way, I'm new on the FT scene here in Ont. but would love to be able to attend a match on the occasional summer road trip 'ome to the Rock. :D
Essentially, an open field with 60 yards length, & enough width to set up a few lanes would do for a start, like I've seen on some of the vids from Hungary, & Brazil FT matches. The informal get-together with some FT & paper targets seems to be a good idea to start.
Maybe try to Figure out a possible location based on interest from forum members first, & have any interested members test the waters locally by spreading the word at work, school, church & so on ... to evaluate possible interest amongst local non-forum/computer folks.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya, Good Luck with it, - Powderkeg
