Since I cleaned up the internals a bit on my ruger and lubed everything up, it has been shooting really nice! And I have been feeling pretty dialed with it.

Tonight I shot probably 100 pellets with a buddy, which was fun because we were racing each other to knock down the pop cans. But after he left I spent about 45 minutes working on grouping my shots.

The top paper (and many before it) was when I started to get into the groove and was calm and cool. Then the bottom paper was my last round at 50 yards which I was really happy with... minus that stray shot on the bottom right.
The circles are just over 2"

I love target practise, its so unlike any of my other hobbies. In the summer I ride bicycle trials and fly rc helicopters. Both of those just fill me with adrenaline, the biking because I dont want to fall and break my self, and flying because I dont want to come out of a move upside down wrong and smash my 500$ helicopter into the ground.

Shooting is almost like meditating for me since its the only hobby of mine that I focus on staying calm and relaxed, I love it. Of course there is my 120g fw aquarium that is pretty relaxing too, only until my 10" tiger oscar and 12" pleco start fighting and nearly punching a hole through the glass. Then I get pretty stressed lol

I Agree! Its definitly a form of meditaton. I`ve been a hunter snce avery young age, and have gotten few trophies in life. Im not as big of a hunter as buddies have become, my true enjoyments are a the range. Wether is be horizonal archery, crossbows, powderburns, slingshots and pneumatics I was born to shoot. I use to be a passionate crossbow shooter but power has become over~whelming for me as I`ve got older, now I`m having thoughts of selling off a crossbow. So I can purchase another pneumaic! Airguns are just an incredible way to relax.

Nice shooting. I bet if you put a better scope (say 12x) on that thing your5o yd groups would shrink! Still that set of gropus is to be proud of.
I can barely see 25 yards, let alone 50 with a 4x scope.

Knappr, this is how I am feeling about my rc heli's... I have two and love flying, but by the end of a session I feel so wound up I might pop. I might sell one to fund another air rifle :D

Duke, I would love a stronger scope. Just upgrading from the 4x scope to this simmons was so good, so another stronger one would be awesome. My vision at distances is horrible, from 50 yards I can't even see the blue circles. Scopes my friend lol

And thank you! I couldn't hit anything tonight, so I am definitely happy I did something good last night.
