Now I just have to practice standing shots, no sand bag. Going to look into taking out some pigeons at a grain elevator and I don't wants to miss and hit something I shouldn't.

I might just keep my crosman venom around just for that reason. Let them shoot the untouched venom and then shoot the Theoben or the HW97. That should open their eyes.

Steel plates, 1" and up. The 1" are welded to 12" spikes so you can stick them in the lawn where ever you want. The larger ones have bases on them to free stand. The front yard is 80 yds to the far corner and there is random sizes all the way out. Those can be shot all day long with the air guns and never have to stand anything up, different story with the rimfires. There is a permanent 50 yard back stop ( will stop high power ), and a portable for whatever other ranges you might need ( usually 25yds). It turns out the steel scattered throughout the front yard has to be fluorescent orange, had a few 1" ers that we're yellow. When the dandy lions come out they cost me $50.00 for a new set of lawnmower blades.

Since the local township dump considers them "hazardous waste",I shoot empty spray cans (air freshener) with the Drozd Blackbird. Makes my shooting area in front of the old shed smell classy all week.

Squirrels, rats, starlings, the deer in the buttock on low power(360 fps) to discourage them from eating my wife's garden!
Sometimes I will shoot pine cones.
Sometimes I'll set up targets when nothing breathing is moving!
