hi, anyone ever try to mod a tanfoglio witness 1911 blow back pistol yet?
any idea?

If its anything like the GSG 92/Sig 225.......You can probably go full auto :mrgreen:

Not sure what you'd want to change... it's a great pistol already. Full auto would be cool, but not sure if it can be done.
Only thing I did to mine is make some cool grips for it. (pics pending :mrgreen: )

thanks, before, i start airguns, i have a lots experience about full metal, gas pistols, i open the receiver of the gun, and i found, you can
do full-auto mod, but,it is going to be uncontrollable, it will go full auto till there is no more bbs
about the fps, i drilled the gas release bigger, this is a airsoft mod
any one have more ideas on the fps??
i'm thinking about taking all the pint off and make it look sliver
what do you guys think?

I was thinking of stripping the paint off at least some of my gsg92...but having trouble bring myself to do it :D

All I used so far was coarse grade steel wool followed by extra fine grade(0000)steel wool. I was quite surprised at the amount of pitting on the parts? Next step will be lots of wet sanding i guess. It looks pretty good, but the pitting is still visible to me...and I hate that :( :mrgreen:

Thats as far as I will get...I sold my GSG 92 yesterday.....too many bills, not enough income :( :cry:

I already have the Tanfoglio and have the SIG on order, it should be here on Monday. The next one will be the GSG 92, probably next week.
The fun thing with the GSG is you can make it full auto but still keep the regular semi-auto mode, the two other guns don't seem to have that feature.

I think that would look pretty good, also replacing the brown grips to black maybe.

I am amazed at the amount of pitting on the parts? I guess the next step will be a lot of wet sanding. It looks good, but pitting is still visible ... I hate me...
