Hi everyone. I have requested the 28th of August for our next meet, just waiting to hear back for availablility. I'll post here once it is confirmed, and if I have your email, I'll send one to you as well. The tentative plan will be a 10 lane event, shot 2X for a total of 40 shots. Registration is $5 the day of the shoot. Gates open at 9:00 for registration/setup, with the event starting as soon as targets are up. If we have time after running the lanes, anyone wanna try a sub-500 or pistol run for giggles? :D

See you all there.

There's a 99% chance that I'll be there. Pistols sounds like fun!

I've ordered 10 targets which I'll be donating to the club, since the previous batch that I promised got lost!

Pistols sounds fun. Taking bets on the ratio of 2240s to Alectos.... :D

Ok everyone, the un-official word is a go, just waiting for confirmation from the Archery Director, and we will extend the time available until 3:00 pm so we can try pistols! I think PiratePete is right LOL, there should be a bunch of 2240's and a more than a few HP-01's :) .

Hey guys, I'm beginning to get interested in the FT discipline. There is no club in my area, and would like to know what exists in BC for FT.

I could certainly get shooting in my area, and come to meets as an import in the future, maybe combining it with a fishing trip or visit to friends. It sure sounds like a lot of fun!

Where are you located? The club here in BC is at the Mission Rod & Gun. Of course we'd love to see as many guys as possible at the meets. You can PM Morris (BCGunner), he's the "big cheese"

LOL, thanks O.V. Everyone is always welcome. I normally bring 2 rifles and a couple of hand guns, so there is always an "extra" to shoot if you don't have a gun.

2 weeks and counting.... 8) ......... :D

I'm in Prince George. We don't have an FT club here, but I used to belong to the archery club before losing my right eye, (I was just NOT going to replace all of my bows with lefties - no way) and I'm sure the guys would let me start an airgun division on their turf, perhaps as a subsidiary to the archery club. Who knows?

In any case, I'm really liking the idea of FT as a summer foil to paper. It seems to be similar to the 3D/Field archery stuff I used to enjoy so much. And it would be fun to go down south once or twice a year to visit friends and make new ones!

Cool Maurits

I'll be there or be square. I'll bring my targets, air pistol, and my guns. Hope to see you all there.

8)

:)

Love it when a plan comes together!
