hello
today when I fire my Tanfoglio Witness 1911 Blowback, the bb was stuck in the back of barrel, I disassemble the gun but I can't take that BB out. And another problem is And when I insert full 18 round mag and then pull the slide backward, BB can't be loaded, but 17 round mag works fine. Anyone know where can I repair for this pistol? I really love this model. I live in Waterloo, not far away from Toronto.

I have take 2 bb out, thanks. But When I use full 18 round mag, I pull slide back, bb is still in my mag. But if I insert 17 round or less, it works fine. Why?

I am just guessing here now and I could be wrong .

May be it is just the brand of BBs that you are using are just a little bit bigger then normal
and they are causing a bit too much pressure on the system .
If you think about it, 17 times a bit bigger can mean a lot in a long run .
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BB_gun

And then in one place they say the magazine is for 20 BBs and the other says 18 BBs.
http://www.pyramydair.com/s/m/Tanfoglio ... istol/1558 = 20 BBs
http://www.arkarmysurplus.com/index.php ... 1&Itemid=1 = 18 BBs
http://www.solware.co.uk/air-pistol-air ... back.shtml = 18 BBs

And sometime companies change specifications without telling anybody too .

Makes me think that there is nothing wrong with our pistol really .

U should only use 17 bb then one less won't be really bad or like the other post says check the bbs, I'm not sure about this but I use Daisy zinc plated bbs and I have cooper head bb and those daisy bbs look bigger could be the effect of the zinc plated but I don't have any problems with my pistol anr its a blow back pistol too

The magazine may be able to hold 18 bb's, but one shouldn't put that many in. Try keeping it around 16 or 17 bb's for it to function properly. The 18th bb likes to partially pop out when you insert the magazine, which then jams up everything. Drop the mag and move the slide back and forth shaking it until the bb(s) come out.

For trouble free shooting I found that locking the slide back before inserting the full mag (sorry I never counted how many BB's) before shooting was the best and easiest way to be jam free.

Couple of other post reported the same probl. and the answer was the same, pull the slider and lock it, then insert the mag. and release the slide. Should be able to shoot 18BB

I use to get all jammed now I only load 16 and alway insert a mag with the slide back. No more problems.

Try to resits playing with the slide or you will double/triple load a BB and they will get jammed in the air tube.

Mike from replica has a tutorial on unjamming the tube. it helped me. Use this link and scroll down a few items to the video.

Good luck.

In each of my BB blowback pistol (and I have all of them) I use ONLY 15 BBs and, like Doc said, lock the slide back before inserting the full mag. Never ever had any jams. Of course, I also ALWAYS put a drop of Pellgunoil on the tip of each CO2 cartridge. I grease the slide rails and few other moving parts once a year with a very thin layer of white lithium grease. These pistols must be very well oiled. They work pretty strenuously.
One should also remember that when the BB loaded mag is inserted and the slide pulled back to cock the hammer the returning slide loads a BB into the breech. If this is repeated the second BB will be loaded in the breech. And so on and so forth. That is a common cause of jamming.
