Hey everyone, I'm pretty new here. My dad and I both collect airguns and have been plinking in the backyard for some time now. I was just wondering if there's an FT or a club in the Toronto area where we can join? Any info would be fantastic. I'm sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

We have indoor CAFTA matches in the winter at the Burlington Rifle & Revolver Club. They have 50 yards indoors, so we are able to shoot up to 20 ft/lb rifle matches and of course, the pistol matches are sub 500fps.

That is probably the closest, but certainly not a long drive from Toronto. When the winter schedule starts, you will hear about it on this and the FT Forum.

Amazing! Thanks for your reply. I can't wait and I'm sure my dad will be excited to hear about this as well.

The matches in Port Colborne are worth the drive from T.O, we have regular shooters driving further than that!
It's only once a month so I'd really recommend making the trip out.
I've been doing it for years from Burlington, so you'd only be driving an additional half hour to an hour depending on what part of Toronto you're coming from.
The upcoming "Fudd Match" would be a great one to attend as your first since everyone shoots the same division (hunter), and everyone is just out to have a great time enjoying the hobby.

Oh awesome. I'd definitely be willing to take a drive for that, even just to spectate.

Edit: Was reading up on the thread and noticed that it's on the 5th. Dammit I'll be in Montreal that weekend. I would love to make it out to these kind of events though.
