The Eastern and Southern Ontario shooters could meet in the middle, which sounds like the 2012 Crosman Northeast Regional Field Target Championships. That's about a 4.5 hour drive from Ottawa. Food for thought...

There are always a few of us from the Port Club at that match. It is only an hour and fifteen minutes for me to get there.

Always an interesting match and usually only has 1.5" kill zones for every target. The close ones may be somewhat easy, but the long ones out in the open fields are tough, especially when the wind picks up and it always does.

Another alternative to that match will be the Canadian Nationals which is held on the fourth weekend in July. It will either be in Port Colborne or Elmira, Ontario. It is a two day match with 60 shots per day. With all concerns settled with the CFO, we are expecting a very good turn-out next year because we will be able to publicize the match early and long range plans can be made.

As for me, I will be at both matches, double the fun.
