do it for fun since it will cost you more then buying a new gun, that is why I'm taking my time on mine to get it cheaper.

I've read thru the whole post and can't find what operation your getting done to your hand???

Can't wait to see where this homemade airgun goes, have you heard of the Benjamin Rogue? The guy who made it is a nice guy from Virginia and also a member here on the CAF, he made a few prototypes, talked to Tom Gaylord about it who connected him with some guys from Crosman and voilà, a few months later the Rogue was born.

You can’t buy a single airgun for everything. Golfers use many different clubs, airgunners need more than one gun

Lucky dog, it doesn't hurt at all, I'm right handed and had the same surgery on my right hand, it SUCKS big time but doesn't hurt much.
If he has a good doc it'll take him longer to put his clothes back on than the time the surgery lasts.
I hope he's ready for a good loooong vacation, not using your hand is HARD, I watched a LOT of DVD's, every dirty Harry, a lot of Clint Eastwood westerns, the godfather, star wars etc.
Sadly the problem came back and I'm gonna have to do it again. :(

Frank if you have any questions about it you can PM me.

Hi new to this board and living in UK.
You mentioned looking for an electric solenoid valve for this build, have you thought of using a common rail diesel injector. They have to hold back a pressure of up to 2000 bar @ 29000 psi. You would probably need a digital timer in the circuit to control open duration. Just a thought. Thanks Kit.

I will use a nos selenod that can hold over 4500psi no problem.

I'm a auto mechanic and I waiting for one to fall in my hands for free, I'm in no hurry.

It's going to be a great Master/Blaster gun! Why not use a mechanical valve with a hammer like most pneumatics?
Red.

since I'm using a break barrel set up it would complicate my instalation for my co2 feed.

I was looking at a paintball gun valve but would need to mod it too much.
so a 12v electric valve will be my valve and my trigger will be a spyder vs3 trigger I can program it how
I like it too shoot.

Holly BATMAN a Old Post revival.

Well I have almost compleaded my home made airgun with parts from my old 1976 air rifle I will try to keep it under 500fps in case I want to put some hand grips on it.

But this is a rifle with a pistol grip I can always use a discover wood stock with trigger but this is a nice light rifle that will be great for plinking all day long.
I'm sure it's not what you expect I build it to ba able to be tethered to a bottle or go with non terdered if I want to.
I made this a unregulated but if tether it's regulated to 2000psi.

Custom Breach from GMAC or something like that.
Barrel original 1976 No Name a few bolts and and washers from same gun sites
3000psi custom Tube machine to take my custom hardware.
gauge at end of tube
crosman stock from Scopes and ammo

So this is my .177 Carbine Brosman B1+Crosman
