Hello all

Just did not seem right to not have our outdoor Christmas match, so we have one planned for Saturday, December 10th at Port Colborne. Long range is for cool temperatures, but decent weather for December. By the Wednesday before the match, I will send out confirmation that the match will occur or cancellation if the weather trumps us.

It will consist of at least 48 shots on the regular FT lanes. We traditionally have not had awards at the Christmas match; basically you win bragging right if you win a particular class. Many take this as an opportunity to shoot a gun they have been neglecting. I may dig out my ld/SS for this one. The only restriction is under 20 ft/lb with lead pellets.

We will have a gift exchange that is not mandatory at all. If you bring a gift, you get a gift. Try to keep the gifts at about $15 or less. Something related to shooting is always good.

We will have the same time schedule with the gates opening at 8:00AM, sight-in starting around 9:30AM and the match starting by 11:00AM. We will have hot water and hot chocolate available all day.

We will keep score and announce the winners. There could be a few door prizes as well.

After the match, we will have the gift exchange and then head out to "The Reeb House", which is about five minutes away and have wings, fish & chips or whatever else you like. The meal is on you.

We will have a $10 fee for the match, just to give the Conservation club some cash for the use of the club and heat. Juniors $5.

All you have to do is let me know if you will be coming to the match and then surprise us with what gun you use.

Hope to hear from you soon.
