So it started with a crosman quest. That I took back because it was too loud. I picked up a crosman 1088 co2 pistol instead.

Man that little pistol is a hoot.

My wife bought me a nitro venom dusk for my birthday.

Took me 3 sessions in the back yard to dial the scope in. Hey, I'm a noob what can I say ;)

Now, all I want to do is go out there and shoot this thing! Is this normal?

I am hitting plastic water bottle lids from 50-60 feet out with a high degree of consistency. It's awesome!

Now all I can think about is getting the Benjamin .22 from Canadian tire. Its pricey though at 350! Anyone out there understand what this obsession is, and how to curb it? Lol!!

Now I'm lining up my PAL just so I can get better air guns! Madness!! But I'm having so much fun doing something I just never considered doing before - ever - that I don't really care.

Are there any air gun clubs out around the southern tip of Ontario? I'd love to get out and have friendly competitive shoots, heck even just for the sake of doing it, with other enthusiasts on a farm or something just to get out and do it ;)

My advice is to take it easy. Just go one gun at a time, eventually you will have them all, then start again and get doubles of the ones you like.

Them all?? LOL - there seem to be hundreds!!

I have a nitro venom dusk .22 (495) - I am looking to get one more nitro piston air gun - seems from other posts, net searches and research, that the Benjamin NP Trail all weather .22 is going to be the winner, though the classic .22 from Benjamin is also still on my mind, the nickle plated one :)

Whichever of these 2 I like the most I will get a PAL version as my first 'real' air rifle - probably late summer or early fall of this year due to timing of PAL safety courses and speedy government turn around time ;)

The addiction is normal. I thought I would stop when the safe was full....nope...bought another safe. One time I sold one; I've regretted it ever since.
