Would any one know where to get parts for these air rifles. Apparently the Baikal MP 512 is similar. I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

How much do you need? I have one I don't use, maybe we could trade if you have other airguns? Would you be interested in a complete rifle?

You can’t buy a single airgun for everything. Golfers use many different clubs, airgunners need more than one gun

Which model do you have? I have another rifle, I'm not sure what it is. I will be heading to the cottage in a couple of weeks I will post back with make and model.

Good to know, I am only needing a mainspring and piston seal, but a whole rifle sounds good. Give me a couple weeks and I'll post back.

It would surely be cheaper than getting a whole new rifle...

Any idea where one can procure the parts such as piston seals and mainsprings?

For Crosman parts you can't go wrong with Eric at scopes&ammohttp://www.scopesandammo.com/storefront/ or you can try http://www.specialtyshootingsportsoutdoors.com/store/ even if what you're looking for isn't listed try contacting them with what you need, they might have it.

Piston seals from мр512. Spring from мр512 2008 and later.
You can use piston seals from Gamo and crosman, but you need to modify piston.
Rifles until 1993 issue have a leather seal

GnoM, thanks for that, I have noticed that most piston seals these days fit around a lip on the end of the piston. Where as the leather seal has a screw through the center which fastens it to the piston on mine. Is that how the mp512 pistons are?

I believe I simply put a larger washer on the head of the piston to sit in the center of the Phantom piston seal...

You just the right size so it pulls the piston seal (and centers it) but cannot go through (let go of) the piston seal...Very easy...
