Hi people, so I've been looking for rings that are adjustable (Sp for elevation). They will be going on a Picatinny rail (NP Xl 1100)
With a scope that has a 30mm tube & 50mm objective namely; http://www.hawkeoptics.com/rifle-scopes ... 30-sf.html
The rail on the gun is already raised so clearance is not an issue with medium height mounts & I have found a couple of rings:

http://airgunbuyer.com/Showproducts.asp?cat=Telescopic Mounts&SubCat=Bisley Telescopic Mounts
http://www.straightshooters.com/so-0230 ... ounts.html

Was hoping to find some in Canada .. lol & perhaps not quite as much $ don't want to "shim".

Also .. has anyone made a side wheel for a Hawke Eclipse 30 ?
I've seen the one made from the toilet base flange, but that is a DIY to fits over the existing wheel for a different scope which comes with a small side wheel already.
The Eclipse 30 does not, would be cool to have a small one though.

Thanks for yer answers .. suggestions.

Off to Karaoke .. Oops meant work !:)

http://www.pyramydair.com/s/a/B_Square_ ... atriot/196

What is this "gimble action" that they claim that eliminates scope stress ?
A Google search for "gimble action" resluted in internet flatulance in ma face.
Does anyone have experience with importing scope mounts/rings from US or England ?
Help ya'll please ....

A search for adjustable scope mounts on PyramydAir gave me a few options. The first two at the top of the page show 2 degrees of angle adjustability, would that be enough?

You can’t buy a single airgun for everything. Golfers use many different clubs, airgunners need more than one gun

Bless you for even responding .. :)
Yes I have looked at those; the issue is that the mount/rings have to go on a Picatinny rail (however a weaver mount will do)
Dovetail mounts will not fit .. unless there is a trick I don't know of .. ?
Rings have to accept 30mm tube to go on a pic rail & be elevation + windage adjustable.
The Burris adjustable rings seem to be ingenious .. ofcourse having feedback from someone that has used them would be nice.

Thanks .. I'll keep looking ..any other sugestions welcome :)!

I have two sets of the AA adjustable mounts that i've used for years. There were few options at that time. They work, but are crazy-fiddly to adjust - you must remove the scope from the mount for each adjustment. "gimbel" seems to be pushing the term, they "tilt" forward or back and can be adjusted side to side. The tiny set screws are less than convenient, especially if they are "soft". For me, it turned out that shimming the scope with plastic [frowned upon by many] worked as well or better. You would need some sort of converter rail to mount it on your rifle, so i would not think it practical for you, except as a last resort.

How about those? http://www.pyramydair.com/s/a/UTG_3_8_Dovetail_to_Weaver_Picatinny_Rail_Adapter_2pcs/4148 would it qualify as a trick you don't know?
