The cylinder of Umarex Smith & Wesson 586 no longer rotates - it seems that the little white metal (triangle?) piece at the bottom of the cylinder (You can see it from the right side) is missing. Does anyone know where can I order the parts in Canada?
Or is there any shop/person can do the fix in Vancouver area?

I think you would need to contact Umarex USA. Some Canadian dealers stopped selling their products as they have no Canadian warranty center.

I called http://www.camouflage.ca/ (where I bought the gun) and they might be able to fix it - I will take a look there.
I think the broken/missing part is caused by hard pushing - I went to Richmond Rod & Gun Club and someone did not know how to operate the pistol and push the cylinder very hard - maybe that's the reason.

I was surprised to see the cylinder rotate counter clockwise when cycled when I cocked the hammer at the sporting goods shop the other day. I could see how someone new using the gun may have forced the cylinder in the wrong direction by accident.

For most revolvers, they cylinders rotate counter clockwise, am I correct?
I shot .357 Magnum/.38 Special S & W 686 as well as the big 500 - as I remember their cylinders all rotate counter clockwise.
Anyway the shop Camouflage took the gun for free repair (nice services!) but I have to wait for 3+ weeks for they to order the parts.

Old thread but Umarex now lists this on their website:

REPAIR INFORMATION FOR CANADIA CUSTOMERS:

Consumers requiring Warranty Repair:

For warranty repair please call Umarex USA Service Dept (479-646-4210 X507) to receive a Return Authorization (RA) number. You will then be provided with the address of an authorized repair facility in Canada. Shipping charges to the repair facility are not covered under warranty. A copy of your original computer generated cash register receipt (no hand written receipts), a note detailing the particular issue with the gun, and your contact information must be included with the package. Please write the RA# on this note and on the outside of the package.
