Really wish I could go, but after spending last weekend in Ottawa I'm too tired to make the long drive two weekends in a row. Also I haven't practiced with my air rifle for a while so my accuracy went down the toilet when I tried earlier tonight.

Well, we didn't get rained on but the gusting 30kph wind was a challenge. There was about two minutes of drizzle and that was it, despite the forecast. I'll post details tomorrow.

Well, our shoot went ahead as planned Saturday morning. Seven hardy souls (including three first timers) were undetered by the forecast, the sky and the wind. I had bought waterproof paper for the score sheets and it seemed to have a magical effect - no rain whatsoever. We had about one minute of mist and that was it! It was cool and the gusting winds made the further targets a real challenge, but there were no flies and nobody got sunburned.

60 Shot Match
46 Dave B WFTF
36 Jim M Hunter springer
35 Richard WFTF (novice)
31 Brian* WFTF
24 Andrew WFTF springer sub 500
16 Claude sub 500 (novice)
3 Will sub 500 & iron sights! (novice)

The next shoot will be May 26, Sunday. Details to follow.

*Brian didn't fire the last 11 shots as his "hip flexor" cramped up. When trying to get someone to massage his cramp his hip flexor proved to be just too close to his gentleman bits for anyone to render first aid.

PS. Todd, if Brian is still lying in your field, just have your son mow around him before the 26th.

PPS. It looks like we may have several people heading to the Nationals in July (unless the forecast says there's a chance of showers).

Wish i could of been there. Unfortunately "summer" is here and the missy wants to go to the cottage instead.

I thought Andrew was changing his spring for a 12 fpe one?

What is your impression of the TM1000?

Ah, the spring is supposed to go in Andrew's rifle - that explains the loopy trajectory! ;)

The TM1000 is great. One of our newbies just bought one as well, so we'll have three of them in the running this season.

Cool

I'm saving up to get one next year. Hopefully someone else will want one and we could get a deal on 2 or more.

Why would yours be for sale well before next year? It's already time to clean it?
