how tight should the piviot screw be?
should i feel much resistance when closing the barrel?
ect...

Rule of thumb, just tight enough that it stays where you put it under it's own weight, after cocking. If too tight it will wear out the breach area, if too loose you may get poor accuracy. I have one "Quest" with a loose pivot, but it's a tack driver so I let it be.
