With Voltar's advice I was able to pop off the white piston head. Now the question is will Epoxy Resin be hard enough as a replacement material without having to spend a small fortune?

The overall length of the piston and piston head is 1.163".

Based on the picture it seems that after the head is installed a thin drill bit is used to cross drill under the head for the proper vent holes?

In the first and forth picture and under a magnify glass the larger o-ring needs replacing due to pits and tiny cuts in the rubber.

Absolutely!
Maybe fill it and set it on glass nose down to cure super flat.
Redrill holes carefully cross drill first then down through piston
