Update. I added a piece of aluminum tape. one layer thick, very thin stuff.I had to slightly flare the arrow opening so as not to catch on the tape when inserting. The fit is near perfect. It increased the speed to 184 avg fps which is 69.5 foot pounds energy.I also moved the target out to 20 yd,s and got a 2" group. Not bad for a 2240.Wish I had the camera set up for that. I also tested it today using 40 gram carbon bolts also 10 inches long and used Co2 and got 120 fps avg.It need,s to be warm out for the Co2. Great fun at 10 yds. I can see why Ted loves "his" so much. Cheer,s.

Didn't see that particular post, but it,s the same as Ted,s, the verminator extreme. Nice rig if you intend to hunt and happen to have a couple of grand to blow.

Nope didn't see that one either. Very nice result, Not many people can do that size group at 50 yds even with a cross bow. My little 2240 cant compete.

Any progress Joe? Find a way to make them fly better? You already have a great group, just wonder if you are tweaking it?

Barrel is 1/4' rigid brake line in the end of a cut off stock 2240 barrel. It,s hammered in pretty tight.
