getting o rings and other seals and especialy the quad sea that fits in the cap that blows off that usually fails mostly from over pumping and age. the quad ring is 0.187*0.312*0.070 nbr 70. i bouught a small bag of them at a local hydralic supply company costs 7.00 for a dozen.
the way to remove the old ring is to push a pin through the quad ring and being very careful not to damage the seat of the quad seal as even a scratch can ruin the seat for the seal and making the valve cap unusable.once you have the old seal pinned yon can gently ease it out of its seat
now the hard part ,putting the new seal in. i use a tooth pick wooden cotten swab with the cotten removed to push the new seal in.this part is the hardest .what you do is push the seal but not all the way in the hole, push the seal into its seat a little at a time, you will evenually get the whole seal into its seat and completly seat it and remove any ripples and uneverness in the seal and the job is done.
i remember it took almost half an hour with much cursing to get it right the fist time but now its just a 5 minute job. this type of repair can fix early editions of the crosman 760 and 130/137,crosman medallist pistols.

I use a straightened out fish hook to remove them and a pencil head to re-install them.....
