Yesterday I got told about a site with online shooting competitions: http://ubccompetition.btck.co.uk/

Despite having Umarex in the name, the competitions are open to any brand of air gun :)

There's quite a variety to choose from and it looks well run. I'm going to give the 10m competition a go as it will be easy to fit in with my normal practice. It's only 10 shots per month - I reckon I should be able to manage that! Hardest thing will be remembering when to send the results in as there is a 1 week window for submissions each month. If I understand correctly, each season runs for 6 months, and there's a leader board that gets updated each month for a bit of extra competitiveness. At the end of the season each shooter's worst month is dropped and the rest averaged to get the overall winner. This week is the 2nd round of the season, so starting now you can still get 5 scoring months.

There are several interesting looking competitions set up for revolvers/semi-autos - looks like good stuff!

I just found this myself.....There doesn't seem to be many competitors, so I wonder how long it's been up?....Great idea,.....could've been Canadian,eh?.............Guess I'll have to buy something with a 10 shot mag....good excuse to look into vintage 357-6's...........Sorry I'm writing so slow, my son just gave me his old lap-top and I'm not familiar with it...................Thumper

Well woo-hoo! I took this months round :)

It's going to be a lottery in the coming months though, they prefer a "shoot it once" approach, and with only 10 shots any mistake drops the score waaaaay down. But then, on the flip side, you can occasionally luck out and get a 93.
