check ebay they have some full repair kits for a lot less then I paid. And you won't get screwed on magazines.

even with shipping and customs your still getting more out of this kit.

Wow, great job on the refinish! I noticed that LeBaron were selling the current 357 for $41, so I picked one up. At that price it might be worth getting the whole gun instead of those repair kits, as you're getting all the trigger/sear/springs as well. I wish the current guns still had a metal fore-end instead of the plastic, but I guess at $41 it's hard to complain.

That's a $35.00 kit from a US seller, a kit with the addition of a magazine, hammer spring, index finger and valve face would be $28.99 from ScopesAndAmmo.com ($20.99 base kit, plus the extra parts that may not be needed in any event).

http://scopesandammo.com/storefront/pro ... -kit-p-565

http://scopesandammo.com/storefront/pro ... zine-p-382

the other parts are basically $2.00 each- cheaper to get in Canada than dinking around with a US ebay seller.

Wow. I never realized that those old 357's could clean up that good! :D
I think mine is from a bit later in the production because the outer barrel looks like plastic to me. :(
How are your wooden grips held on? Did you use the metal clip that clamps onto the co2 off your plastic grips?

The grips are held on just like the plastic ones. I did use the metal co2 holder, and for added strength I added a screw from the inside through the metal clip into the wood grip. If you'd like to see a pic let me know.

Thanks for checking out the thread and posting! :D

had a look at the old valve, wish I had done so before.. cause a few minutes and a 0.02cent o-ring and the old valve is back in the gun and holding air.
