Anyone familiar with the E9A, mine is in .20 cal. but now when I try to pierce the C02 cartridge (by doing an initial fire) it takes several attempts then when it does it leaks, and now I cannot get it to pierce at all.
I took it apart , cleaned and lubed, but no fix. does it need a stronger spring, or is the valve just worn out?
Any help would be appreciated as I really like the gun.
Thanks.

I seem to be having the same problem. When I first got the pistol, the piercing pin would put a fair size hole in the C02. Now it only pierces a very tiny hole. I did play around with different hammer springs, would using a stronger hammer spring damage the valve spring/stem in anyway?

I think the piercing system is similar, at least from an operational point. I am going to try to add some spacers behind the spring that pushes the piercing pin to give it more travel, not sure about the leaking, will figure that out when I get it to pierce.
