hey guys, Ive got a crosman 400, and I've got an HPA fill cap from another gun that fits on the tube, ive got an air pump, and too much time on my hands.. so... how high do you think I can pump a crosman 400 before it splodes? 1500? 2000? 3000? (however unlikely that is)

Good thread

http://www.network54.com/Forum/275684/t ... CO2+vs+HPA

For me 1200-1400 psi for hpa is the max...50 year old tube and all.

Not having the phase change with hpa that you get with co2, charging the tube to 1400 psi will not get you many shots and will have a nifty power curve.

Regulated hpa bottle looks like the way to go if you want hpa on the older crosmans', and the safest.
