Hi
I was looking into changing my crosman 1377 barrel. I realize that barrel cannot be shipped from the US. Does anybody know who sells a good quality barrel? also witha good re-crowning service.
I do have 18" barrel right now but I the barrel just doesn't produce good shot groups..
1 inch group at 14m

Any gunsmith near you ought to be able to do a re-crown, though I'm sure some know better than others regarding airgun crowning. Clean cuts is probably the most critical thing, no dull cutters galling the edge.

As for a 1377 shooting 1" groups... wow. I recall testing my younger brother's back in 1989 when I made new grips and a pump arm for it. Thing was shooting one hole groups off a sandbag at 10 metres. Yours definitely has a problem. Of course his was stock, except for the grips. Thing shoots amazingly well. But neither he nor I can stand pumping so it sits on a shelf. His much less accurate Webley Tempest sees far more action.

discouraging..
would scopesandammo.com do some good crowning for me?
I live in BC ,I cannot find any local gunsmith around me. I know there is D&L airgun but I think they just sell stock barrels only.

Not that I know of. He's apparently a veteran US military sniper with something like 16 years active experience, and a machinist professionally, and seems to know a little bit about guns... but whatever. Good luck.

Thanks for the kind plug Gerard!
Yes I can re-crown a barrel for $15 or cut and crown for $20. Plus applicable shipping. I have 4-5 .22 barrels but no .177's.
