I am planning install a 24" barrel on my 1377 gun and was thinking my plastic 2289 band will be able to hold the barrel tight enough.
2289 barrel band is pretty loose and moves my barrel up/down when I pump.
So I was looking at this metal band for my 1377.

It looks pretty nice and solid. But I don't know if it is really worth all that money for a barrel band.
I am sure it will secure my barrel very well but if there's only little difference I might as well just use my plastic band.

Btw, I heard there was recently increase of US border regulations
will this item pass through the customs?

Thanxks

a steel breach and a good strong barrel band is absolutly a must for a 2289, ,,
it will transforme your gun as a real serious accurate thing
than after that you could had a flat top piston

a 2289 is a kind of a non finished rifle,we might had these thing to make it real,

some here could surly offer to built you one too

practily the same gun ,same set-up
everybody mods them the same way ,

,but as it write 1377 on the tube ,
even whit a 24 inches barrel, it will be classified as a pistol,
if ever you have plan to shoot over 500fps
