Depends on what bigbore and exactly how big a bore it is. You gotta give more details than that for us to help you out.

You can’t buy a single airgun for everything. Golfers use many different clubs, airgunners need more than one gun

It's a .468 what? Is it a Crosman .468? Is it made by Hatsan, by Webley, is it custom, is it a repeater or a single shot, a PCP, CO2, single pump, multi-pump or springer? A pistol or a rifle?
More details, the more you can think of putting down the better, a picture or two would also be nice and if the gun is unknown a description of how the barrel attaches to the breech would be a good starting point.
Is the gun made in .25 caliber or are you just planning to put a custom barrel on it?

Without knowing or getting into the particulars...there's nothing stopping you from trying it. Should work...would try a long-ish barrel to make best use of the high volume/low pressure you're using. 30-36" if possible. :)

Al

Edit: Doc...check out some of his other posts/topics...home built big bore rifle.
