Hi guys some pics of my home made 277 grain hollow point slugs test fired in to 1/4 " rubber matting at close range at 500 psi

Starting to expand, but I'm thinking rubber mat is pretty tough stuff and would encourage that.... Generally Hollowpoint bullets need more velocity to see much expansion.... with a big difference taking place in the 800's with pure lead....

Hi guys yes the rubber mat is pretty tough so worked quite well, some pics of the mold as requested also a pic of a ball recovered from my session on sunday you can just see the rifling marks showing that it works this was shot at thirty yards
