Use for old saw blades, shooting with my HW45 .177 at 20 yards, sound makes a great twang when hit.

wow. it looks like you've got the whole african tundra out there to shoot. i'd give anything just for 10 meters of bare space in my backyard to shoot in.

A coat of grey primer will show your impacts at distance.
A bottle cap taped over the hole will change your thru hole misses into bullseyes. ;-)
Saw blades rock for the ring they make and they eat all the pellet energy too making lead wafers.
I would not recommend bbs although they ring even better.

Good idea for the bottle cap, seem to have lots of those, I was wondering what to do with the center hole.
