Finally finished the rebuilt of my Marksman 1745 and want to show the results.
This rifle was purchased from very respectful forum member couple of months ago.
In good condition, but shoots weak – less than 200 fps with pellets and about 340-350 fps with bb's.
Smooth bore barrel had no capability to group at all – flayers up to 10 cm apart.

Why I bought this one? Because it was the first air rifle I shoot in Canada. I shot it in my friend's house 4 years ago and was so excited, so he gave it to me for 2 weeks to play, since then I became addicted to airguns. So when I saw this one on sale I decided to take care of it.

What was done:
Replace the smooth bore with Crosman rifled barrel
Replace worthless hooded front sight with muzzle brake with sight pin
Secure the rear open sight with new screws 8/32
Polish trigger and safety
All internals lubed with moly paste
Two washers added to the spring
New breach seal prepared from ¾ rubber washer as old seal was broken into peaces after the first dis-assembly.

The results:
10 shots string with Hobby pellets
393, 395, 381, 389, 394,
381, 385, 385, 378, 393.
Avg: 387 fps

With Crosman wadcutters speed even more up to 430 fps, but less consistent.
Considering the max for this rifle stated my manufacturer is 450 fps I think it is very respectful fps for its age and its use as plinker.

Accuracy test from 9 m semi-rested (elbows on table), open sights with Hobby pellets.
Unfortunately can't be used with scope – the barrel has loose connection to the receiver and has some play, so groups with scope opens up 2-3 times bigger than with open sights.
