Hey all. I know there are actual camera mounts for HD digital cameras and such but that stuff is out of my price range and I dont have a HQ camera  I was browsing around and came across the CenterPoint ActionCam Weaver-mount and was wondering if it can be mounted on my scope rail behind my scope for scope cam recordings? I know its lower quality but thought it might be a neat little gadget and a 'lower-cost' first time solution to camera mounts and HD cameras you see on youtube. And if possible, mount it straight to my weaver rail on my benji without any rings, or would I need rings too to do this, which I would get separately?

Unless you can place it in front of your scope on the mounting rail (and keep your scope high enough to not be blocked by the camera), it won't work- the camera points straight ahead- so the best solution if you want to keep the scope on the gun is to mount it to the scope tube itself with something like this: http://scopesandammo.com/storefront/pro ... stem-p-558
