Hello
I have a 2240 that I have put a disco tube on and a "boss max flow " valve from Bryan and assoc." it has a Ninja 3000 lb HPA tank regulated to 1500 psi.
I crono some .22 cal pellets today at 580 fps ? To me that seems lower than I expected.

Question #1
Do I need a stronger spring pushing the hammer harder to open the valve more or for longer ?
Or is there another mod I should do.

Question #2
Does anyone know how many shims should be in the regulator of the ninja tank to be at 1500 psi ?
I'm thinking that maybe it could be regulated wrong.

Thanks

If you're using a stock 2240 hammer spring and 1500 psi, that is likely the reason for your low velocity.... A hammer spring from a Disco should be ideal at that pressure....
