I'm looking at quite the deal of a detuned HW97kt. I obviously have my pal & a full power 97, this deal is almost too sweet to pass up but can a detuned Weihrauch gun be opened up or does Weihrauch somehow permanently keep the threaded end piece closed? To bring that gun up to its full power/service/drop a kit in there. Any help from you guys appreciated!

No problem. Get the non-PAL and put in a full power spring.

 I wish I could do a bit of indoor shooting (especially when its too cold out for anything!). Space is limited, so I make do from my car port out to 25 yards.

The only difference is that (Weihrauch) takes a Full power spring and cuts it, so you get a chopped spring that makes the gun non-PAL.
Like it's been said by getting a PAL rated kit you can bring the gun up to PAL specks.
