Agreed, nice thing is, and I knew this going in, is that the sub 500 version gets a lot more shots out of a fill. I haven't had a chance for counting but based on what I've seen is say I should get around 125 or so until it needs filling, and that's keeping it above 75 bar as per manufacturer.

Ya, send Ted a note. He's often on the Yellow.
Got a feeling he got something going with AoA and they don't carry Evanix.
I'm sure he can answer for himself.

Having said that, it sure would be nice to see more reviews on the Evanix line.

I had a few minutes to shoot a mag over my chrony yesterday... Why does it always seem when I get a new gun work picks up and I have very little time to enjoy it?
Anyway I was getting numbers averaging 486fps. Had one register at 506 which was odd as all the others were consistently in the mid to high 480's.
I was using the JSB Exact 15.89g.

Will take some more time when I have it and get some strings going with a few mags, but looks good so far.

And I'll break out the db meter next time to see what it's putting out for loudness, should be quieter than the full power version they sold in the US I think.

Well, for what it's worth... I've now had this rifle for 4 years. I think it's the only gun I have owned for that length of time. Maybe that says something in itself?
As there were initial questions about the longevity of a gun with servos and electrical components, I can say I have had zero problems with the gun. The only thing I had to do was buy a new battery pack as the original started to lose it's charge capacity. I'm not sure how many rounds I've fired with it, probably in the 2500 range, which given the age isn't a ton. But, enough to show that the Evanix brand is a quality product.

I just figured that's it's not often we see an initial review of a gun and then much long term follow up. This may or may not be of interest to folks here. Incidentally the Evanix guns are still available but the full auto models were phased out, you can buy the Conquest still in the US.
