The 2240 half cock should provide relief to even light valve springs and allow sealing for pressurization.
A related issue I have seen is that of manufacturing tolerances not allowing sufficient hipac to seal pressure to allow for greater charge pressures.
That is, valve/cart seal face is too far away from fully threaded hipac sealing surface when bottomed into the tube that it will leak when reaching 1500+ (in my case). The only remedy is to disassemble and shave the end of the tube down a few thou to allow hipac further depth to seal.

I have taken mine to 3k without issue, seal failure or leaks. Delrin poppet however as the stock seal can and will fail after prolonged use above 1600psi - detailed in a thread here somewhere.

I dream of the day someone makes and markets a peek poppet WITH a piercing pin to have the best of both worlds (tune notwithstanding).
