Although it could be "said the actress to the Bishop"...

However in this case I used the now famous Dukemeister Butt extension to add 2 inches to the LOP of my plinking 1077 and what a difference that truly makes as has been said.

Used 3/8 maple from an old dresser drawer and on old curtain rod and plain of wood screws (thanks Rick).

The rods are drying tonight from a blast of black paint as the finish was crap on the rod.

I was all set to do my 953 butt but..... my scroll saw blade went and I don't have any until I hit CT tomorrow. Left me more time to shoot spoons in rapid succession.

Said the actress to the Bishop!

I am looking forward to doing the 953. I may pick up a nice chrome rod if I don't like the black version.

I both chrome and black would have a neat look off the maple....well see tomorrow.

And.....

Nice Harry,
Butt Murray

Brass would be cool.
A well stocked ,plumbing shop would have some stuff to choose from I bet.
I picked up a chrome towel bar but they didn't have the right scroll saw blades so no work today on my butts.
