I thought that as well when I went to a pistol match (my first) in Burlington a few years ago. I ended up tying for 3rd, ended up 4th in a shoot out. So don't go in with the wrong attitude.

Unfortunately I have plans that weekend :(

No prob, I just go for the fun of it, meet peeps and shoot some lead :)
I went to a pistol shoot early this season and surprised myself by scoring 65 or so/ 98!!!
Just letting those people who might be scared of competition that this is a friendly, welcoming group of shooters and they are VERY helpful
I learned a ton at my first one and I'm sure I'll learn more this time :)

May I come just to watch and meet people?
If yes, can someone post or pm the exact address?

Thanks,
Ariel

Here's the link LINK to the Google Maps location

There's nothing 'secret' about this place, everyone's welcome to come and watch and participate - your first match is free, so why not participate? Heck, I can dig out my 'Loaner' PCP HFT rifle (a lightweight Benjamin Discovery) that I can loan you to use! Send me a PM if you're interested.

Is there a Non PAL/ scoped class or which class would I fall into?

If you are using a springer, you will be in piston hunter class. The indoor, windless conditions are much friendlier to non-pal guns.
