Just received my AT44 opened up the box and filled it up to 200 bars, brand new chrony, and tank.
So i decided to test it, here are my results:

Stock vavle stem: 10 shot string with and average of 333.8 FPS
(Whats going on :O )

PAL Valve stem (bought at forum store) 5 shot string average of 443.7 FPS

Now is there a velocity adjusting device that i am not aware of? 443 fps with the PAL valve stem i don't think this is normal its shooting below my qb78 on co2 with the modified valve (632fps)

I don't own one but that definitely doesn't sound right the non pal should be around 495fps and the PAL should be up to 1100fps. I'm sure someone will chime in to help you solve you fps loss, I'm thinking there must be some kind of adjuster on the rifle or reg.

Turn the hammer adjuster out about 4 turns. give a go

4mm long allen wrench in end of tube and a 2.5mm used to stop hammer from turning. Poke up through hole by stock attachment nut.
Stock is off for this adjustment.

Alright thanks everyone :) I found that screw, unscrewed it all the way out and gave it a turn back in (it's killing my ears now so i guess thats a good point), i will do my testing with this adjuster in an hour or so and keep this updated for the shot strings.

I know this is going to sound stupid, but are you using .177 pellets in a .22 cal gun? Sorry but I did that and had to ask.

did a test and first shot was 1090 FPS with 15.7gr and 907.3 with 25.4gr i put the stock valve back and its shooting under 500's now ill keep it under 500's because of the noise level at 1040 the noise level was as loud as a 9mm blank.... (SERIOUSLY :o !!)

If you tune it to around 850 you will find the noise level will be down and the accuracy will be better.

Didn't try it, i first turned it without hold th hammer in place (before i read your comment) so i decided to turn it all the way out and back one to start my testing, but after seeing how loud it was... ill be doing these testing at the field or at the cottage, not in the house because of the noise level. so i put it back stock!

Hey Ace, I just watched the video. Did you notice the guy was working on a loaded gun and has pointed back at himself at least once. And if that wasn't enough, he steps on his stock. I hope folks on this forum are a little more safety conscious than the guy in this video.

Thats odd....Mine with the hammer preload all the way in (lightest hammer) will still give me 800fps.

I hope you enjoy it.
Honestly, I had more fun shooting this at the range than my powder burners last time I had it out.
