So I am thinking about converting my 850 to HPA.
Was thinking of using a regulator and was wondering.
What size of a firing chamber volume might work best.
Or at least would be a good place to start with.

Any thoughts on this?

Grunt

What is "firing chamber volume"? Is this meant to be the valve volume, or are you talking about "compartmentalizing" your gas flow to the valve in some way?

Volume of air between reg and firing valve. Should be sized to contain about three shots worth of air.

Why would we want such a 'compartment' for the airflow?
