Hey guys, can someone let me know how they depinged their At44/Pneuma rifles? I've seen Ted's method but I am not sure if that's the route to go for this gun. The ping is quite noticeable.

Any help much appreciated.

When I asked about it I was told to ignore it  not much help :?
If you do find an easy way, I'd also be interested, a link to Ted's solution would be interesting too.

Yeah well I read Bob's warning about the 'depinger' slowly travelling towards the valve. Which is a potential, dangerous jam as mentioned. That scared me. But I went ahead and followed Ted's Holdover video. And I'll check it every now and then. Am currently pumping it back up. Heres a link, hopefully it works... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWZBxMZ7dbg

There's a great 7 page post on the Marauder forum about depingers. http://www.marauderairrifle.com/forum/v ... =28&t=2223
It's well worth the read.

I like the ping. Usually indicative of good tuning and efficient use of air.

True, Voltar.... if you can hear the ping, the report can't be that loud.... which means efficeint air use and likely no hammer bounce....

Thanks everyone for the input. After trying the method in the video, no ping whatsoever. In fact, I didn't chrony it yet but it sounds mysteriously lower powered without the ping
