For some reason when I try and cock the qb. It won't cock some times. When I say won't cock, the bolt will slide back without resistance and move forward without tension. It does this every other cock. Any ideas how I can fix this. I tried to pull the trigger and cocked the bolt to try and reset the sear, no luck.

Btw I ordered a riser with bolt from jezx so if I need to tear her down please pass me along any dummy guides u might have! I owned several qbs but never tuned any myself.

The qb78 has been fully tuned with tank block mod by another member. It is a beast, so removed some shims on the regulator to drop down the psi output.

The QB is a cock-on-close design so there should be no resistance when you pull back the bolt. If you feel no tension during the closing of the bolt, then the hammer is probably not catching on the sear.

You can open the trigger assembly side plate (after removing the stock) to check why the sear is not catching the hammer. The trigger mechanism is adjustable so it could be fixed easily...

Disassembly tutorials on QB's should be everywhere (youtube is best).

I had the same problem with mine out of the box, the trigger was caching just a little and was causing the gun not to cock properly its a simple fix you should be able to do it.

lots of qb stuff on this site: http://ukchineseairgunforum.myfreeforum ... 89f954ca29

can be done without, but this little piece makes life a lot easier http://gallery.myff.org/gallery/1098473/Graphic1.JPG especially if you need to disassemble several times to get the tune right.
